MAJORTRAUMA
Collective
Sharing knowledge that only experience can teach.
A collective of trauma and major-injury specialists, working real cases the way they actually unfold — the pattern recognition and judgement under pressure that shapes decisions but never makes it into a guideline. The hard-won experience of the resus bay and operating theatre, pooled and passed on. It begins with the Major Trauma Podcast.
The Podcast
Real cases. The experience behind the decisions.
Each episode of the Major Trauma Podcast works through a case the way it actually unfolds — mechanism, primary survey, resuscitation, the operative and critical-care decisions, and what the evidence does and doesn't settle. The value isn't only the protocol; it's the accumulated judgement of clinicians who do this work — the collective experience that rarely reaches a textbook. Pitched at those who resuscitate, operate on and care for these patients.
Case-based
Every episode is built around a real presentation and the decisions it forces, start to finish.
Major injury
The mechanism, physiology and system response that define the major trauma patient.
Collective experience
Pooled judgement from clinicians who do this work — what experience teaches beyond the protocol.
Forward-looking
Where the field is heading — systems, technology, and the evidence as it changes.

Who's behind it
The Major Trauma Collective.
Major Trauma is produced by The Major Trauma Collective — an independent group of trauma specialists who live and breathe major injury care in a high-volume quaternary trauma centre. The project exists to pool and share what that work teaches. Cases are de-identified and intended for registered health professionals and trainees.
